Welcome to Must Read! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Must Read mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by Must Read ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using Must Read, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Must Read. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.
To use certain features of the Service, you may need to create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
You retain ownership of any content you create within the Service, including book lists, reviews, ratings, quotes, and highlights ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your User Content as necessary to provide the Service.

Must Read offers both free and premium subscription tiers. The free tier has limited features, while the premium tier ("Must Read Premium") provides access to additional features as described in the app.
Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions for in-app purchases. Prices are displayed in the app and may vary by region.
We may offer free trial periods for Premium subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription.
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will apply to subsequent billing periods.
The Service, including its design, features, code, graphics, and content (excluding User Content), is owned by Must Read and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our permission.
Book metadata, covers, and descriptions displayed in the Service are sourced from third-party providers and publishers. This content is used under license or fair use principles and remains the property of its respective owners.
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us the right to use this feedback without any obligation to you.
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party services (such as book retailers). We are not responsible for the content, terms, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee the accuracy of book data or recommendations.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MUST READ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Must Read and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account from within the app settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include violation of these Terms or extended inactivity.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may delete your User Content, though we are not obligated to do so.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Must Read is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Must Read regarding the Service.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
